As your much-awaited journey with Veena World begins, here’s how your first day will unfold based on your selected tour departure:

Guests Departing from Pune (Scheduled Group Departure)
Guests who have opted for the Pune to Pune tour should report at Pune Airport, three hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time.
Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport, your Veena World Tour Manager will meet you and ensure a smooth transition to the hotel or the sightseeing spot, as per the itinerary.

Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Anywhere in the World
If you are joining the tour from any part of India or overseas by making your own arrangements, please ensure you receive complete guidance for a smooth arrival, hotel check-in, or joining at the sightseeing point.
Your Veena World Travel Advisor and Tour Manager will coordinate and guide you accordingly. The Tour Manager will meet you directly at the first destination, as per the itinerary shared with you.

Important Notes:
• For Joining & Leaving guests, flight tickets and airport transfers are at your own cost.
• To avail of the group airport transfers:
• Your arrival airport must match the scheduled group arrival airport.
• Your arrival time should be at least one hour before the scheduled group flight arrival time.
• On the last day, your departure flight must be scheduled after the group’s flight from the same airport in order to avail the group airport transfer.
• Hotel Check-in Time in India: Standard check-in time is 12:00 PM (12:00 hrs) or later.
• If your flight arrives in the morning, we include a sightseeing activity before check-in to make the most of your time.
• In case of flight rescheduling—arriving earlier on the first day or leaving later on the last day—Veena World will take care of additional meals or snacks, if any.
• We recommend keeping your travel documents, valuables, and money safe during the tour.
• Always keep Veena World emergency contact details and your Tour Manager’s mobile number with you during the journey.

Today we visit Lingaraj Tepmle – a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva and is one of the oldest temples in Bhubaneswar.

Today we visit Udaygiri & Khandagiri Caves – an ancient rock-cut caves known for their historical significance, intricate carvings, and Jain heritage. Later we visit Nandankanan Zoo.

Today we visit Dhauli Shanti Stupa - serene Buddhist monument symbolizing peace, located at the site of the historic Kalinga War. Later we proceed to Puri. En-route visit Pipli – a town of artisans where locals produce applique art and colourful fabrics. Later we stroll on the sun-kissed beach of Puri and view the breath taking sunset.

Today we enjoy an excursion to Chilika Lake – one of the most important wetlands in the world because it is home to a phenomenal variety of birds. We visit Sea Mouth – the Island where Chilka lake meets the Bay of Bengal. Later in the evening we enjoy Odia Folk Dance Show.

Today we visit Jagannath Temple – one of the major pilgrimage centres in India followed by a visit to Chandrabhaga Beach. Later we visit Konark Sun temple – an architectural marvel which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and Arka Khetra Sun Temple Interpretation centre. In the evening we witness the sound and light show (Subject to Operation) at Konark Sun Temple.

Guests traveling on the scheduled group flight will proceed to the airport as per the group’s departure time.

Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests:
J&L guests will proceed to the airport after the scheduled group tour concludes.
If your flight timing and airport match the group’s, you may join the group airport transfer. Otherwise, the cost of reaching the airport, cruise terminal, railway station, or bus terminal will be borne by the guest.
