As your much-awaited journey with Veena World begins, here’s how your first day will unfold based on your selected tour departure:
Guests Departing from Mumbai (Scheduled Group Departure)
Guests who have opted for the Mumbai to Mumbai tour should report at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Domestic or International Airport, Mumbai, three hours prior to the scheduled flight departure time.
Upon arrival at Cochin Airport, your Veena World Tour Manager will meet you and ensure a smooth transition to the hotel or the sightseeing spot, as per the itinerary.
Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests – From India or Anywhere in the World
If you are joining the tour from any part of India or overseas by making your own arrangements, please ensure you receive complete guidance for a smooth arrival, hotel check-in, or joining at the sightseeing point.
Your Veena World Travel Advisor and Tour Manager will coordinate and guide you accordingly. The Tour Manager will meet you directly at the first destination, as per the itinerary shared with you.
Important Notes:
• For Joining & Leaving guests, flight tickets and airport transfers are at your own cost.
• To avail of the group airport transfers:
• Your arrival airport must match the scheduled group arrival airport.
• Your arrival time should be at least one hour before the scheduled group flight arrival time.
• On the last day, your departure flight must be scheduled after the group’s flight from the same airport in order to avail the group airport transfer.
• Hotel Check-in Time in India: Standard check-in time is 12:00 PM (12:00 hrs) or later.
• If your flight arrives in the morning, we include a sightseeing activity before check-in to make the most of your time.
• In case of flight rescheduling—arriving earlier on the first day or leaving later on the last day—Veena World will take care of additional meals or snacks, if any.
• We recommend keeping your travel documents, valuables, and money safe during the tour.
• Always keep Veena World emergency contact details and your Tour Manager’s mobile number with you during the journey.

Today we visit Chinese Fishing Nets and St. Francis Church at Fort Kochi - one of the oldest European churches in India which has great historical significance. Later we proceed to Muttancherry, here we visit the Jewish Synagogue - oldest active synagogue in the Commonwealth of Nations, Dutch Palace - one of the finest examples of the Kerala style of architecture. Later we proceed to Munnar – Munnar is well known for its lush green hills and tea plantations.

Today we enjoy speed boat ride at Mattupetty Dam near Sun moon Valley, followed by a visit to Echo Point and Eravikulam (Rajamalai) National Park (subject to security permission).

Today we proceed to Periyar. Upon arrival, we have free time for shopping at Kumily Spice Village. Later we visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - one of the popular national parks in India and famous as an elephant and tiger reserve. It is home to around 35 species of mammals like tiger, Indian elephant, gaur, sambar, wild pig, Indian giant squirrel, jungle cat, etc. We explore this wildlife sanctuary by sailing on the Periyar Lake. In the evening, we enjoy Kalaripayattu show- an Indian martial art. Further we also enjoy Kathakali show - is one of the oldest theater forms in the world.

Today we proceed to Alleppey – known as ‘the Venice of the East’. Today we experience a wonderful stay on Kerala Houseboats and admire the scenic sites of lush paddy fields and coconut trees as we sail.

Today we visit Jatayu Earth Centre – which stands at an altitude of 350m (1200ft) above the sea level. Jatayu Nature Park holds the distinction of having the world’s largest bird sculpture, which is of Jatayu. Here we take a cable car ride to reach at the main attraction, upon arrival we visit Jatayu Sculpture, Audio-Visual Museum, Rama Temple & Mini Theatre. Further we proceed to Varkala - a coastal town in the southern part of Kerala known for the unique 'Northern Cliff' adjacent to the Arabian Sea. Upon arrival we visit Varkala cliff- a famous beachfront which is a massive cluster of old times rock formations.

Today we proceed to Kanyakumari- a coastal town on India's southern tip. Upon arrival we witness the spectacular sunset at Kanyakumari.

Today we proceed to Kanyakumari – a coastal town on India’s southern tip. Upon arrival, we enjoy a ferry ride to visit the iconic Swami Vivekananda Rock Memorial – built in 1970 in honour of Swami Vivekananda – followed by a visit to the meditation hall, the smarak, and then cross the glass bridge to reach the towering Thiruvalluvar Statue, dedicated to the celebrated Tamil poet and philosopher. Further we visit Kanyakumari Mandir - is one of the 52 Shakti Peethams, and Tri Samudra Milan (Triveni Sangam).
Later we proceed to Thiruvananthapuram- popularly known for its riveting natural beauty and stunning architectural marvels.
Note: At the Kanyakumari Mandir we arrange VIP Darshan for you. It might not be possible during government movements, special delegate visits, or religious ceremonies. Still, in such situations too, we will try our best to make it available to you.

Today we explore Trivandrum city, we visit Padmanabh Swami Temple - is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and the Richest Place of Worship in the World, Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery - displays original paintings of Raja Ravi Varma, Napier Museum - It contains a host of historical artefacts including bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. In the evening, we visit magnificent lighthouse at Kovalam beach.
Please Note: For you visit to the Padmanabh Swami Temple, it is compulsory for all Women to wear a Saree, men to wear a plain lungi without the Angavastra and the girls below 12 years of age may wear a gown. (Salwar suits, black colour saree, sleeveless blouses & all other forms of modern dressing is not allowed.)

Guests traveling on the scheduled group flight will proceed to the airport as per the group’s departure time.
Joining & Leaving (J&L) Guests:
J&L guests will proceed to the airport after the scheduled group tour concludes.
If your flight timing and airport match the group’s, you may join the group airport transfer. Otherwise, the cost of reaching the airport, cruise terminal, railway station, or bus terminal will be borne by the guest.
